What is NVC? Posted on August 1, 2014 by Mrs. Presson NVC is short for National Visa Center which is a processing facility under the U.S. Department of State. They are the ones handling approved petitions from USCIS. Once USCIS approves the petition, the case will be forwarded to NVC.
