Is there a CENOMAR equivalent for U.S. Citizens? Posted on August 25, 2014October 16, 2014 by Mrs. Presson There is no CENOMAR equivalent for U.S. Citizens. There’s the “Affidavit in Lieu of a Certificate of Legal Capacity to Contract Marriage”. It’s $50 at the U.S. Embassy and must be requested by the U.S. Citizen (USC). This is mostly used by USC’s when contracting marraige in the Philippines. This is not needed in anywhere in the K1 Visa Process.
