Our I-129F Petition was approved. What’s the next step? Posted on August 1, 2014August 24, 2014 by Mrs. Presson If you always check your case status online and/or your get notified that your petition has been approved, the next step is wait for your I-797 hardcopy or more commonly known as Notice of Action 2. Take good care of your NOA2. You will need this document for Adjustment of Status (AOS). Some petitioners also get mail from the National Visa Center (NVC) containing the Case Number information that is needed for the next part of the process. Most beneficiaries have to wait for “Packet 3/Packet 4” from their local U.S. Embassies or consulates. It will contain instructions on what the next steps would be. However, if your fiancé(e) is from the Philippines, you don’t have to wait for this instruction packet from U.S. Embassy Manila. The petitioner and/or the beneficiary can contact NVC to get their case numbers so they can start with the K1 Visa Process sooner. Make sure to read all the information on the link below.
