What are these immunizations / vaccinations required under U.S. Law ?

The U.S. Department of State has listed the following as vaccination requirements:

  • Hepatitis A
  • Hepatitis B
  • Influenza
  • Influenza type b (Hib)
  • Measles
  • Meningococcal
  • Mumps
  • Pneumococcal
  • Pertussis
  • Polio
  • Rotavirus
  • Rubella
  • Tetanus and diphtheria toxoids
  • Varicella

Immigrants may be required to receive one or more of the listed vaccinations above if the panel physician deems it is medically and age appropriate for the applicant. Booster shots may also be required stateside if there’s a lack of time interval in between vaccines.
